Diseases & Treatment

(i) Scorched disease The disease consists of dark brown spots on leaves, branches and pods with round rings that appear clear on the leaves. In view of this disease, 2 kg of 75% of the quantity should be dissolved in 800-1000 litres of water and two sprays at the rate of per hectare. (ii) White gerui the disease creates white blisters on the lower surface of the leaves, and later the floral configuration is distorted. It can be prevented by a scorched disease. In addition, it is beneficial to spray ridomil MZ-78 at 2.5 kg per hectare with 800-1000 litres of water. The seed should be treated and sow. (iii) Stem rot disease_ The symptoms of this disease appear on the stem of plants. The white growth of mildew appears over the yellow spots on the stem. In the end, the stem begins to rot from that place, and the whole plant dries up. To prevent this, carbendajim should be mixed with 2 sprays in 800-1000 litres of water at the rate of 1 kg per hectare.

Weed Control

In the case of weeds, a weeding should be done before irrigation and the second after first irrigation. Pre-sowing pendimethyline 30 EC for weed control At the rate of 3.3 litres/h, 800-1000 litres of water should be dissolved and sprayed immediately after sowing before deposition.
