Kufri Ornament:- 

This crop is recommended for growing in the States of Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. It is a long and thick stem variety. The crop is grown in 75 days in plain areas and 140 days in hilly areas. Its potatoes are spherical. Its average yield is 120 quintals per acre.

Kufri Ashoka: 

It is a long and thick stem variety. This variety is cooked and ready in 70-80 days. Its potatoes are large, spherical, white and soft peeled. It is a tolerant variety of previous scorchdiseases.

Kufri Badshah :- 

Its plants are long and 4-5 stem per plant. Its potatoes are round, large, spherical and light white in colour. It has potato flavours. This variety is cooked in 90-100 days. This variety is capable of withstanding fog and is resistant to backward, early scorchdisease.

'Kufri Bahar:- 

Plants of this variety are long and stem thick. The number of stems is 4-5 per plant. Its potatoes are large, white in colour, spherical to oval. The variety is ripening in 90-100 days and its average yield is 100-120 quintals per acre. It can be stored for a long time. It is resistant to backward and early scorchdiseases and leaf cramps.

Kufri Miracles:- 

This type of plants are of diwanera stature, spreading and having more stems. The variety is grown in 110-120 days in the plains and 150 days in hilly areas. This type of potato is spherical and light yellow in colour. On an average, it yields 100 quintals in plains and 30 quintals per acre in hilly areas. It is a resistant variety of previous scorch diseases, melting diseases and droughts.

Kufri Chipsona 2:- 

Plants of this variety are of dichotomy and low stems. Its leaves are dark green and flowers are white in colour. Potatoes are white, darmian-shaped, spherical, oval and soft. Its average yield is 140 quintals per acre. It is a resistant type of previous scorch disease.

This variety is suitable for making chips and french fries.

'Kufri Chandramukhi:- 

Plants are of darmian stature Potatoes are oval, white and light white in colour. This variety can be stored for a longer period of time. The variety is grown in 80-90 days in the plains and 120 days in hilly areas. Its average yield in plains is 100 quintals and in hilly areas it is 30 quintals per acre. It is a resistant variety of previous scorch diseases, melting diseases and droughts.

Kufri Jawahar:- 

Its boots are small, straight, thick and low-taned. Its leaves are light green in colour. Potatoes are darmian-shaped, spherical to oval and soft peeled. It is an early ripening variety and takes 80-90 days to ripen. Its average yield is 160 quintals per acre. It is not the right variety to make new products. It is a resistant type of previous scorch disease.

Kufri Topaz :- 

Its boots are long and low in stem numberand thick. Potatoes are white, large, spherical and soft peeled, which ripen in 70-80 days. Its average yield is 160 quintals per acre. It is a resistant variety of early scorch disease and is not suitable for making new products.

Kufri Sutlej:- 

Plants of this type are thick and thick stem. The leaves are light green in colour. Potatoes are large in size, spherical and soft peeled. This variety is cooked in 90-100 days. Its average yield is 160 quintals per acre. This variety is good and delicious to eat. These aloos are easy to cook. It is not the right variety to make new products.

'Kufri Sindhuri:- 

Plants of this type are long and thick stem. The potatoes appear round and light red in colour. Its pulp is light white in colour and cannot be stored for long. It is ripening in 120 days in the plains and in 145 days in hilly areas. Its average yield is 120 quintals per acre. This variety is resistant to fog, backward scorch diseases, melting diseases and droughts.

Kufri Sun :- 

This variety is resistant to summer season and is resistant to drought disease. The variety is ripening in 90-100 days and its average yield is 100-125 quintals per acre.

Kufri Pushkar:- 

It is a medium ripening variety that cooks in 90-100 days. Delayed drought does not affect this variety and this type of potato can be stored in normal conditions. Its average yield is 160-170 quintals per acre.

Kufri Jyoti: 

This variety is resistant to backward droughts. On an average, the yield appears to be 80-120 quintals of husbands.

'Kufri Chipsona 1: The disease of drought in the backward state does not affect this variety. Its average yield is 170-180 quintals per acre. This variety is suitable for making chips.

Kufri Chipsona 3: The disease of drought in the previous stage does not affect this variety. This variety is low in sucross content. This variety is suitable for making chips. Its average yield is 165-175 quintals per acre.

Kufri Farisona :- This type of potato is 75 min. M. They are of size which is suitable for making french fries. Its average yield is 160-170 quintals per acre.

Kufri Chandramukhi (A-2708), Kufri Alankar, Kufri Jyoti, Kufri Bahar, Kufri Kundan, Kufri Megha, Kufri Chipsona.

Fertilizer Information

Fertilizers should be used only on soil testing basis. This quantity may fluctuate on the basis of soil analysis. The ratio of fertilizers is mixed with npk 70:30:40 per acre of land.

Urea :- 

Mix 77 forts per acre at the time of final tillage and give 38.5 forts of urea 30 to 35 days after sowing and 38.5 kg urea as top dressing 45 to 50 days after sowing.

Phosphorus :- 

Mix the entire quantity of 188 forts in ssp per acre field at the time of field preparation or mix it in the field at the time of sowing 66 kg DAP per acre.

Potassium :- 

Mix the entire quantity mop 68 forts per acre of field at the time of sowing.

As recommended by soil testing or 10 kg zinc sulphate and 20 kg ferrous sulphate per acre should be used in low areas before sowing and necessary zinc sulphate can also be sprayed.

Weed Control
